Sh*t Happens! Only in Los Angeles...

I get a call from one of my high profile corporate clients in West Hollywood, to do there annual picnic, as usual we are going to go to there location, loaded with our Big John Grill and some specialty meats and some great sides, (mac and cheese, garden salad etc.) We do this every year for there staff of about 100 hungry workers. Why would this be any different? The morning of the event, as my staff and I are loading the Van, I get a call from the event coordinator of the company and she tells me we will have to re-schedule. Mind you my van is loaded to the rim with everything imaginable to have a company picnic for 100 workers. I ask her very politely what the problem was and that we were actually on our way. She replied, "Well a disgruntled employee climbed to the top of the building and jumped to there death." How does one even reply to such a comment? so i just said "oooh sorry to hear that, I guess today is not a good day for hamburgers." She Says, "yup" and we re-schedule for another day, that easy. Well when the new day finally arrives, I made sure we had enough food for 99 hungry workers. this time i called ahead to confirm before we loaded the van. Cannoli Kings Catering will always re-schedule.
